THE SPACE:
A 55 foot wharram catamaran situated in the stunning Setonaikai National Park.
Four double private cabins, two with shared on-suite. Plenty of room to find your own private space or join in with other guests.
Accommodates 8 guests comfortably without feeling crowded.

We have no minimum numbers so if you are the only one onboard you have the boat to yourself, although the captain is always onboard. The emphasis is on relaxing and the experience of being on the water. Enjoying a drink while the sun set over the islands.
With multiple bookings we do our best to make sure everyones needs are catered for.
There is a fridge on board if you wish to store food and drinks, plus the kitchen is available.
Breakfast is toast, eggs, sausages, fruit, coffee, teas, juice. Museli or if you have particular dietary need please let us know in advance.
GUEST ACCESS:
Guests have full use of Tiare, we have a kayak onboard, fishing gear, snorkeling gear, and a small rowing and sailing boat. The captain and crew are happy to provide instruction.
Nearby amenities include FESPAR a traditional style onsen, if you prefer a simple shower then the beach has a modern shower block. Both are less then five minutes walk from where we anchor.
We do have a shower (cold) on board but as with most boats water is a precious resource and must be managed carefully. We tend to use the fresh water for rinsing off after a salt water swim and washing the dishes.
Other activities such as Kayak hire, Bicycle hire, Swimming Pools, Fishing tours, walks are easily arranged.
INTERACTION WITH GUESTS:
Relaxing and enjoying your time on board Tiare is important! For some that means being involved in the onboard or onshore activities, for others it might mean curling up under the shade nets and reading a book. Tiare has enough space to accommodate both.
The Captain (Daniel) has his own cabin onboard and is always on hand to help with any queries or to show you how something works. Bear in mind that English is the Captains first language (he is still learning Japanese).
Captains first mate (Hiromi) can help you arrange ongoing travel requirements and answer any questions that are beyond the Captains Japanese.
Captain also cooks your breakfast 🙂
OTHER THINGS OF NOTE:
A car, bicycles? we can store them onshore.
Each cabin has a 12v DC (same as a car) outlet along with a 230VAC outlet and a 100VAC in the cockpit (when the generator is running)
If you choose to eat dinner onboard then it is a communal affair.
